The following Innovation Grants were approved in May 2019. Successful grant recipients receive funding to advance the development of a creative enterprise through one or a combination of the following:

The project will develop Brisbane's first inner-city live-in artist and curator residency program at The Third Quarter gallery, Petrie Terrace. The project provides artists and curators the opportunity to access a secure studio space, professional mentorship and gallery exhibition spaces as part of the residency.

The project will develop a platform for customers to access unique, curated shopping experiences with local fashion stylists and personal shoppers. The project supports entrepreneurial Brisbane stylists and personal shoppers to offer their services via the website, promoting Brisbane as a vibrant fashion destination, and supporting local fashion designers and retail businesses.

Work Window Australia Pty Ltd

Work Window

The project will develop a virtual reality platform, allowing students to explore career options via a headset to engage in a virtual work experience session with their career counsellor. The project will empower students to make informed career decisions by integrating the platform, containing a vast range of careers, with education institutions and private companies in Brisbane and around Australia.
