Acquittal of funding by grant recipients

As a condition of grant funding, Brisbane City Council requires you submit a project acquittal report at the end of your project. This report must include a financial report which details:

  • project expenditure; and
  • evaluation report outlining the project's outcomes and how they contributed to the aims and objectives of the grant program.

Typically grant acquittal reports must be lodged within 12 months of the date of notification of successful application. Your Funding Agreement will document the exact date.

When you are ready to acquit your grant, complete the online acquittal form linked to your original grant application. To access this form:

  1. Log in
  2. Click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the page. You will see your submission and the associated forms open and waiting for you to complete.

If you are not able to submit your project acquittal report by the due date (e.g. your project has been delayed), contact Council's Grant Team.
