The Innovation Award is a $25,000 one-off grant to realise a creative, inspirational and innovative idea within the creative industries.
Eligible applicants include artists, arts workers, designers, producers, curators, collectives and arts or creative organisations, working in any artform or creative industry.
About the award
The Innovation Award is designed to encourage an innovative and enterprising creative workforce. The award:
- contributes to the Creative Brisbane Creative Economy 2013-22 strategy
- supports the development of creative enterprises by encouraging the development of new work and innovative approaches within Brisbane's creative sector.
There is one Innovation Award of $25,000.
Funding round dates
Applications for the 2017 Innovation Award are now open and will close on Monday 7 November 2016.
All applications are to be submitted online. The online application system allows you to save, develop and print out applications before you submit them.
Council will hold The September Edition on 26 and 27 September – a series of free information sessions for Brisbane creative to network and gain knowledge to progress their careers.
