Men's Shed Grants 2013-14 recipients

The following Men's Shed grants projects were approved in 2013-14.

Successful grant recipients receive funding to establish and coordinate expenses, improve facilities and equipment, and purchase materials for Men's Sheds in the Brisbane City Council area.

Men's Shed 100 Inc Purchase woodworking and metalwork tools to support both shed-based and mobile activities. $9285
Nundah Activity Centre Inc Purchase a range of tools and equipment to support various community initiatives such as shed outreach, bicycle and wheelchair maintenance, and a refugee empowerment program. $10,000
Oxley Community Men's Shed Construct a noise barrier fence and a car park to allow successful operation of the men's shed to meet Development Assessment requirements. $14,274.80
Shed West Community Men's Shed Inc Connect power from the main shed to an auxiliary shed that is wheelchair accessible and install electrical fittings. $5720
St Clements Anglican Parish - Stafford Community Men's Shed Provide electricity, install a dust extraction system and provide training in safe woodworking skills. $20,000
Sunnybank District Community Men's Shed Inc Install three phase power to run machinery. $20,000
