Creative Sparks Program 2015 grant recipients

The following Creative Sparks grants projects were approved in March 2015.

Successful grant recipients receive funding to implement creative projects or develop the professional practice of Brisbane artists and cultural workers.

DeClassified Music DeClassified Music 2015 Series Develop and present four innovative live music performance events in 2015, involving over 35 outstanding Australian classical and jazz musicians. $17,420

Lawrence English Room40 15th anniversary Room40 is celebrating 15 years with special commissions, performances and focused branding activities. $18,000
Leah Cotterell The Primitif Requests the Pleasure Celebrating a new installation of glamorous 1960's photography, interviews with fascinating Brisbane personalities, and featuring swinging jazz played by young Brisbane musicians. $17,035
Liesel Zink The Stance Undergo final development and presentation of a new dance work titled 'The Stance' in King George Square, Brisbane. $18,000
IGNEOUS FLUIDATA FLUIDATA is an immersive audio-visual installation about Brisbane and Queensland creeks, activated by physical participation by visitors and engages them to interact sensitively with their local environment (West End/Oxley). $10,040
Queensland Poetry Festival Brisbane Poetry Map Brisbane Poetry Map engages Brisbane's leading spoken word artists and poets to develop a series of site-specific poetic trails, available as text and audio maps via an online portal. $7000
