DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">Get up close and discover the feathered, furry and scaly friends that live in our neighbourhoods.Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers.</p><p dir="ltr">Native wildlife live all around us, from our backyards to local parks and nature reserves. But have you had a chance to meet them up close?</p><p dir="ltr">Join our wildlife expert for a special Bush Kindy wildlife experience as they introduce children to a variety of Australian animals, including amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds. Discover what makes these creatures unique, learn how to be a wildlife-friendly neighbour, and enjoy an interactive experience designed especially for young children and their families.</p><p dir="ltr">This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation care group interested in attending a similar activity, please <a href="mailto:KFDC%40brisbane.qld.gov.au" dir="ltr">send an email</a>.</p><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Requirements on the day:</strong></b></p><ul><li value="1" dir="ltr">Arrive a minimum of 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.</li><li value="2" dir="ltr">All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.</li><li value="3" dir="ltr">Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent.</li><li value="4" dir="ltr">Please bring drinking water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.</li><li value="5" dir="ltr">Some components of the session may take place outdoors.</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Note:</strong></b>&nbsp;All outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.</p>
