DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">To celebrate Children's Book Week 2026, the CBCA Queensland Branch is hosting "Come and Play Author" Day for children aged 4–8 years and their carers.</p><p dir="ltr">Come along and enjoy a book reading, performance or craft session with Queensland authors and illustrators.</p><p dir="ltr">Books on sale to have signed by your favourite author or illustrator.</p><p dir="ltr">Authors and illustrators include Clare McFadden, Yvonne Mes, Kia Hing Fay, Alison McLennan, Sophie Beer, Kristen Willis, Rory H. Mather and Anil Tortop.</p><p dir="ltr">Families are invited to book one or more sessions. Booking fee: $5 per family. Spaces are limited – book your spot soon!</p>
