DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">This small-group program offers a peaceful, accessible way to connect with Brisbane’s natural areas. Led by a qualified Forest Therapy guide, the session includes a series of simple sensory and mindfulness-based activities during a gentle 2 km walk through bushland trails. Throughout the experience, participants will be invited to engage with the natural environment through observation, personal reflection, and sensory awareness.</p><p dir="ltr">Forest Therapy has been shown to support wellbeing, reduce stress, and strengthen our connection to nature and community.</p><p dir="ltr">The session finishes with a shared tea ceremony, offering time for conversation and connection.</p><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Requirements on the day:</strong></b></p><ul><li value="1" dir="ltr">Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre</li><li value="2" dir="ltr">Wear a hat and sun protection, fully enclosed walking shoes, an extra warm layer of clothing, a raincoat / umbrella if the weather is inclement and bring insect repellent</li><li value="3" dir="ltr">No food outlets onsite so bring a snack if required</li><li value="4" dir="ltr">Bring a water bottle and something to sit on (lightweight chair / towel / small mat) if required</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Note: </strong></b>This activity will go ahead in light rain. Activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.</p>
