DESCRIPTION:<p dir="ltr">Join a fun guided walk to visit some of our resident bats and learn some amazing facts about these winged wildlife heroes. These quiet (and not-so-quiet) achievers are crucial to the health of forests, making all bats ecological powerhouses! There will be giveaway take-home crafts for children and some tips on easy ways we all can help bats with their struggle to survive. Less than 1 km on easy walking paths.</p><p dir="ltr">After the activity, visit the environment centre and explore the beautiful natural surroundings of the bushland reserve.</p><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Requirements on the day:</strong></b></p><ul><li value="1" dir="ltr">Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.</li><li value="2" dir="ltr">All children must be directly supervised by an adult.</li><li value="3" dir="ltr">All participants must wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, sunscreen, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), and bring insect repellent.</li><li value="4" dir="ltr">Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b><strong>Note:</strong></b> This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.</p>
