The QSO Concertmaster&rsquo;s solo violin becomes the voice of Scheherazade herself, spinning her story through each movement.</p><p>Grieg&rsquo;s Piano Concerto offers a different kind of storytelling, performed by celebrated Australian pianist Piers Lane. With its unforgettable opening, sweeping melodies and folk-tinged charm, it remains one of the most beloved concertos in the repertoire.</p><p>Opening the concert is Release by Ella Macens, a rising voice in Australian music.
