DESCRIPTION:<p>Join us this school holiday at Brisbane Powerhouse for Virtual Binkinba on Sunday 5 July.<p>Developed by creative technologist Brett Leavy (Bilbie XR Labs &amp; Virtual Songlines), this immersive digital heritage project offers a unique look at the pre-colonial landscape of the Brisbane River and New Farm area. The one-day exclusive experience highlights First Nations technology and navigation, diverse flora and fauna, and significant sites such as the traditional camps near Newstead House and Barrambin (Victoria Park). Virtual Binkinba is proudly presented by Cre8tive Nations and Brisbane City Council, in partnership with Brisbane Powerhouse and the Queensland University of Technology.<p>Tickets are available on a "Pay What You Can" basis. While the suggested price is $30, you are welcome to pay more to support our artists or less if you are on a budget. All are welcome to attend.
