Green Heart Schools Future BNE Challenge - World Science Festival Brisbane 2017
As part of the 2017 World Science Festival Brisbane from 22-26 March 2017, Brisbane City Council is proud to present Green Heart Schools Future BNE Challenge - an interactive, inquiry-based learning, future-thinking challenge.
The challenge will be held live at The Courier-Mail Piazza, South Bank Parklands on Friday 24 March 2017. Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, renowned Australian science communicator and author, will welcome students to the program.
The challenge is open to year seven students, with students participating in teams of ten. Student teams will battle other schools while they develop innovative ideas and solutions, critically analyse water use and discover how science, technology and art can work together to build a better future.
The challenge is linked to the Australian Curriculum and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
Expressions of interest are now open for schools to register for the 2017 Green Heart Schools Future BNE Challenge. Register online now.
