Recreate Paper Fashion Show
Help us celebrate National Recycling Week in style again this year at the Recreate Twilight Market and Paper Fashion Show in King George Square on Friday 4 November 2016. This paper-themed twilight market and paper fashion show is all about recognising Brisbane’s recycling efforts and inspiring even more recycling for a cleaner, greener city.
Presented by Brisbane City Council and VISY Recycling, Recreate features paper couture created by a collection of Brisbane’s best fashion designers, your favourite food trucks, free paper craft activities and handmade artisan wares at the BrisStyle Market stalls.
To see what happened on the the Recreate runway last year, you can watch a video of the runway event. You can also see how Brisbane designers, businesses and residents came together last yaer to celebrate recycling at the event in a video on Council’s YouTube channel.
Let's get recycling sorted
Just like our Paper Fashion Show designers, try thinking about the paper, cardboard and other recyclable materials as resources, something that can be reused, recreated and recycled, rather than wasted in landfill. Find out more about recycling.
