Eat your flowers!

In this fun class you'll create delicious treats using easy to grow flowers from our organic gardens! You'll be surprised by just how many flowers you can add to desserts, cakes, salads and other dishes. Ronni will show you how to grow the best edible flowers for Brisbane's climate, and how to prepare and use them.

You'll come away with the confidence to start using flowers in your kitchen!

Youth offer: This workshop is suitable for teenagers, accompanied by mum, dad or another adult guardian, who has also paid to attend the workshop.

About the facilitator: Ronni Martin is an author and educator at Northey Street City Farm, where she contributes to the farm's educational programs and community engagement. Her work focuses on permaculture, organic farming, and sustainable living, and she is involved in various events and initiatives that promote these values.
