Making tea is an ancient art – long practiced in both China and Japan. If you are interested in the history and tradition of tea and want to experience more than an afternoon ‘cuppa’, then this is the workshop for you.
Delight in the subtle delicacy of a green or yellow tea, imbibe the robust taste of a rich red, or experience the delight of a fermented pu-er tea. Whether you prefer Earl Grey or oolong, we’ll find the tea for you. Learn how tea is made and the proper method to brew your tea of choice.
Due to the length of this workshop, please bring a snack for yourself.
Note: This workshop is available only to participants 16 years of age or over.
Venue: Meet at the Auditorium.
This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens' commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the 'plant back into planet.' For more information, email BotGardensWorkshops@brisbane.qld.gov.au
