Roghan Road Landfill - landfill leachate network upgrade
Brisbane City Council will be undertaking works to upgrade an existing landfill leachate network at the Roghan Road Closed Landfill site, Fitzgibbon from early September 2017.

About the project
The upgrade will include the installation of a new pipe will transfer excess leachate from the landfill to the Telegraph Road sewerage network to be treated.
Works will be completed within the fenced closed landfill area and associated easements within the north eastern corner of the site.
Impacts during construction
Construction activities will be carried out between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday with works for the project expected to be finished in November 2017, weather permitting.
Properties in close proximity to the landfill site may experience some construction noise however, Council will endeavour to keep this disturbance to a minimum where possible.
