World War II Memorial Gallery

The Second World War Memorial Gallery will be refurbished in the Shrine of Memories to accommodate Second World War plaques and retain the mosaic mural.

During the recent restoration of Anzac Square, the memorial plaques have been moved, reviewed and put into storage to avoid damage. All of the plaques have now been categorised and grouped into categories.

Each plaque now has a catalogue number which corresponds to a place in the World War II Memorial Gallery wall. You can check the catalogue number in the table below and find its place on the wall by downloading the documents:
