There are hundreds of parks scattered across Brisbane ranging in size from small pocket parks to large district parks, two Botanic Gardens and many bushland reserves. Council manages 12 cemeteries and three crematoria for people of the Brisbane area. These facilities provide venues for burials and cremations. Many cemeteries offer memorials for ashes.
