Water play areas

Brisbane City Council has three parks and a number of pools with water play features and wading pools. These locations provide opportunities for hours of water-based fun for kids and toddlers.

Water play features vary at pool locations, but may include slides, mushroom fountains, drop buckets, lily pads, worms, bubblers, water jets/sprays, wading pools and other interactive features. Water play features at pools are closed during winter.

Parks with water play features include Booker Place Park at Bellbowrie, Rocks Riverside Park at Seventeen Mile Rocks and Wynnum Wading Pool Park at Wynnum. Park water features may include fountains, water jets and wading areas. Wynnum Wading Pool, built in 1930 (and upgraded in 2008), is located beside the land-based water park and includes a pool slide for kids to enjoy.

Enjoy some water-based fun at a Council venue. Don't forget to be sun smart - slip, slop, slap, seek and slide.
