Brisbane City Council manages a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities including sports complexes, swimming pools, water play areas, skate parks, bike paths, boat and canoe ramps, pontoons, fishing platforms, golf courses and tennis courts.  Council also runs a wide range of recreation programs catering to different age groups and interests. 

In 2018, Council is delivering new and improved skate facilities including the completed Balmoral Youth Space and Murrarie Skate Park upgrade, and the brand new facilities Grovely Skate Spot and Ashgrove Skate Spot, which are currently under construction. Find out more.
