Wi-Fi in Brisbane Central Business District
Brisbane City Council is now offering free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access in the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD) and across Victoria Bridge to South Bank.
Wi-Fi access is also available in 22 parks and public spaces across Brisbane. Find more information about Wi-Fi in parks.

Wi-Fi now extends throughout the CBD - from Turbot Street to Alice Street to Eagle Street and incorporates landmarks such as King George Square and Post Office Square.
The Wi-Fi service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone can access it with a Wi-Fi enabled device.
Enabled devices include:
- personal computers
- video game consoles
- mobile phones
- MP3 players
- personal digital assistants.
To connect to the service, search your wireless networks, select 'Brisbane Free Wi-Fi', and read and accept the terms and conditions. No login is required.
Wi-Fi support in the CBD
In the CBD, Telstra provides end-user support 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
A hotline is available to assist users in the listed Wi-Fi-enabled spaces. The hotline number is 1800 384 685. Look for this number in hotspot areas.
Hotspot areas are to be used in a fair and community-minded manner. Council may choose to limit downloads and connection times and use content filtering systems as part of this service. More information can be found in the terms and conditions.
