Wi-Fi at Mt Coot-tha Summit Lookout

Brisbane City Council is now offering free wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access at Mt Coot-tha Summit Lookout in Mt Coot-tha Reserve, Mt Coot-tha.

Wi-Fi access is also available in 22 parks and public spaces across Brisbane. Find more information about:

Wi-Fi access

The Wi-Fi service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Anyone can access it with a Wi-Fi enabled device.

Enabled devices include:

  • personal computers
  • video game consoles
  • mobile phones
  • MP3 players
  • personal digital assistants.

To connect to the service, search your wireless networks, select ’Brisbane Free Wi-Fi', and read and accept the terms and conditions. No login is required.

Wi-Fi hotspot locations

Wi-Fi coverage is available in the following locations at Mt Coot-tha Summit Lookout:

  • small car park closest to the Kuta Cafe
  • car park adjacent to Summit Restaurant
  • paved lookout area and grassed area
  • Kuta Cafe
  • Summit Restaurant.

Wi-Fi support

Telstra provides end-user support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A hotline is available to assist users in the listed Wi-Fi-enabled parks and public spaces. The hotline number is 1800 384 685. Look for this number in hotspot areas.

Wi-Fi use

Hotspot areas are to be used in a fair and community-minded manner. Council may choose to limit downloads and connection times and use content filtering systems as part of this service. More information can be found in the terms and conditions.
