Hire Valley Malls
Valley Malls offers a range of spaces ideal for hosting. Valley Malls is an open space to showcase our vibrant, creative city. Located within the heart of the entertainment precinct, the space can help expose your brand, band, organisation or cause.
Brunswick Street Mall and Chinatown Mall hosts community events including Valley Fiesta all year round, Big Sound, Lunar New Year and Moon Festival.
Both Malls holds up to 1500 patrons. However, the venue is scalable for a number of different event modes. There is also access to power, chairs and tables.
Who can hire event space
Community
Non-profit organisations, groups and volunteers hosting fundraising and awareness activities.
Small business
Commercial businesses owned and operated within the Brisbane City Council region.
Corporate
Businesses that are owned or operated on a large-scale commercial basis, generally national and international commercial organisations.
Technical facilities
Power supply is 32 amp and phase three power outlets.
Noise levels
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations state that during an event at Valley Malls:
- noise level cannot be greater than 100dB (A) LAeq when measured 30 metres from the event space, over any five-minute interval during the event
- all amplified noise must finish by 10pm.
Noise levels are measured by an independent company at spectator height from front of house.
