Brisbane City Council is making Brisbane better by delivering high-capacity and high-frequency Metro services running along dedicated busways.

Council’s new electric Metro vehicles will be the first of their kind in Australia, getting you home quicker and safer.

Modern flash charging will recharge each Metro vehicle in less than six minutes , while zero tailpipe emissions will provide clean and green journeys.

Three spacious passenger areas for more customers, and four large double doors will mean quicker boarding and less time waiting.

You’ll travel comfortably with on-board USB charging and Wi-Fi, with services also offering next stop audio and visual information.

A fully low floor, from front to rear, will offer a high level of accessibility for all passengers.  

Brisbane Metro will provide services every three minutes in peak periods and reduce congestion as part of a greater public transport network.
