Graffiti management strategies and partnerships

Council is committed to managing the social and financial impacts of graffiti and has a range of programs in place to keep Brisbane graffiti free.

The Taskforce Against Graffiti (TAG) provides support to police officers to assist them in the identification of offenders and offences. TAG also ensures graffiti education is conducted in local schools and Council's graffiti liaison officers work with community groups, residents, and small businesses to help reduce the impact of graffiti in the community. Council’s Graffiti removal teams also play a vital role, acting quickly to keep Council facilities graffiti-free.
