Brisbane City Council is pleased to announce the recent appointments of Dyan Currie and Marcus Mulholland to key positions in Council's City Planning and Sustainability team.
As Chief Planner, Dyan leads the development and delivery of strategic planning outcomes for Council's New World City agenda, and maintains overall accountability for Council's Economic Development portfolio.
Marcus's role as Manager, Development Services, provides expert strategic direction on policy and legislation relevant to complex development applications and leads continuous improvement to influence and assess quality development decisions in a timely manner.
Together, Dyan and Marcus bring a dynamic combination of planning experience, expertise and management skills to Council as we embark on an exciting new direction in planning our New World City.
Dyan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Urban and Physical Geography) and a Graduate Diploma (Urban and Regional Planning) from James Cook University as well as a Graduate Certificate (Public Sector Management) from Flinders University. She is currently President of the Commonwealth Association of Planners.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning from the University of Queensland and a Certificate IV Project Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
