City Centre Master Plan - Transformative ideas

Brisbane City Council identified 16 key areas in the inner city for potential transformation. As part of the Ideas Fiesta, Council invited the community, students, businesses and designers to put forward their ideas for how the city centre could evolve.

Council received thousands of ideas and is currently working out practical ways of delivering and prioritising future city centre projects. The priority projects will be outlined in the new City Centre Master Plan, expected to be released for community consultation later this year.

To view ideas and images from the Ideas Fiesta, visit the City Centre Master Plan social hub.

The aspirational ideas below were submitted by leading design teams and are intended to stimulate conversation and capture the attention and imagination of the community.
