Place has articulated a design concept to transform the Queen Street to River transformative area.
Their vision reveals the potential of Admiralty Place as an active, functional and well-connected public space.
Key design elements include increasing tenancy visibility from Queen Street and the waterfront, increasing shade, simplifying movement and access throughout the park, increasing usable spaces, integrating the park with Queen Street and promoting both day and night-time use.
Place’s vision combines excellent location, views from a proposed suspended deck and the existing history of the site to create a new distinctive Queen Street River Edge place.
