Owen and Vokes and Peters have created a design concept for the Northern Gateway transformative area. Their idea harnesses the potential of this city gateway area to develop its identity and become a neighbourhood common, high street and commemorative square with a readily identifiable and unique character and opportunities for new mixed use and high density residential quarters.

Featuring Centenary Place as open space at its centre, the proposed Neighbourhood Precinct would enable one to live, work, socialise, and recharge within its boundaries.
