Hemmant-Lytton Neighbourhood Plan community engagement

Brisbane City Council has been working with the local community since 2013 to produce a neighbourhood plan.

Council also formed the Hemmant Lytton Planning Forum as a reference group to provide local knowledge and input into the strategy and draft plan. The planning forum comprised of representatives from Hemmant and Lytton businesses, residents and community groups.

Additionally, more than 400 people have attended Council’s community engagement events. More than 50 submissions were made on the draft strategy that was released for public feedback in May 2014. Council is currently reviewing submissions received on the draft plan that was released for public feedback in May 2015.
