Water sensitive urban design engineering guidelines (superseded) and fact sheets

Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) engineering guidelines for stormwater provide water cycle solutions for urban development that:

  • protects waterway health by improving stormwater quality and reducing run-off
  • minimises effluent discharge
  • increases recycling opportunities
  • reduces water demand by providing alternative sources

Brisbane City Council recommends the use of Water by Design's WSUD Technical Design Guidelines for South East Queensland. These guidelines supercede Council's WSUD engineering guidelines as listed.
