Council is taking action to make our suburban streets safer and more accessible for all. In response to concerns raised by the local community, Council undertook a traffic study in the Teneriffe, Newstead and New Farm areas. 

New Farm and Teneriffe Hill residential parking permit area

New Farm and Teneriffe Hill are located close to the Fortitude Valley and Newstead business centres, and adjacent to the Brisbane Central Traffic Area and Teneriffe residential parking permit area. To ensure residents, their visitors, and other visitors to the area area able to access on-street parking, a residential parking permit area is in place.

New Farm Park has four designated sites available for bookings for special events of short duration.
