Brisbane City Council's cemeteries and crematoria honour residents who've made Brisbane the diverse and liveable city that it is today.

Council manages 12 cemeteries and three crematoria catering for burials, cremations and memorials for ashes. The Hemmant, Mount Gravatt and Pinnaroo cemeteries offer a range of burial options. The remaining nine cemeteries are historic sites with limited burial options.

To reflect the diversity of Brisbane residents, Council's cemeteries offer burial settings developed in cooperation with Brisbane's Greek, Serbian and Russian Orthodox Churches, and members of our Italian, Croatian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Orthodox Jewish and Muslim communities.

Council continually upgrades and expands its cemetery and crematorium centres.
