New fishing platform - Moggill Ferry Reserve

Brisbane City Council is planning to construct a new fishing platform within Moggill Ferry Reserve, near the park shelter at Moggill Road.

This project is part of Council’s commitment to creating more to see and do in a clean and green Brisbane.

About the project

The project will involve constructing:

  • a 7 metre by 7 metre fishing platform
  • a two-metre-wide concrete footpath that will connect the existing shelter area to the new fishing platform.

The completed site will also host a fish cleaning table with a water supply. This will provide a great recreational space for the area.

Work is expected to begin in mid-March 2019, and be completed by mid-2019, weather and tide permitting.
