Hibiscus Sports Complex fitness facilities and programs

The Hibiscus Sports Centre offers various fitness facilities and programs. These include:

Fitness classes

We offer a range of aerobic and aqua aerobics classes including Energisers (mature age aerobic class).

Class duration is 45-60 minutes, depending on the class.

Gym

Our equipment can provide you with a challenging yet comfortable workout to help you reach your personal best. The gym offers:

  • cardiovascular and resistance machines
  • free weights
  • televisions with free-to-air and Foxtel channels
  • spacious air-conditioned environment.

Qualified instructors can design a specialised program to suit your particular needs and lifestyle.

Pools

The sports centre has:

  • a 50 metre outdoor heated pool with shade structures
  • a 25 metre pool heated at 29 °C
  • a 12 metre pool heated at 32 °C - ideal for children and rehabilitation
  • waterslides
  • a children's play pool.

Swimming classes

Swimming lessons are provided by Rackley Swimming.

The Learn to Swim program caters for all ages from two months.

Multi-purpose courts

Basketball court closure

The basketball courts in the stadium at the Hibiscus Sports Complex will be closed for refurbishment of the floors from Wednesday 28 December 2022 to Saturday 7 January 2023. 

Our indoor multi-purpose courts are of international standard. They are available for casual use to practise a range of sports including basketball, netball, volleyball and futsal. 

The multi-purpose centre also provides for volleyball, basketball and futsal. Sporting clubs, schools and private groups can hire the centre.

Hibiscus Stadium hosts events throughout the year - on these dates there will be no casual entry or bookings. For more information, visit the Hibiscus Stadium website.

Squash centre

The Hibiscus Gardens Squash Centre operates six squash courts for competition and casual play.

We organise social activities including squash fixtures, rebound volleyball and junior and adult coaching.

Physical therapy centre

ACE Sports Medicine offers a range of professional services including:

  • pilates
  • physiotherapy
  • podiatry
  • massage.

Skate park

The skate park caters for beginners to advanced skaters. It includes quarter bowls, two handrails, grind boxes, quarter hip and flat banks with grind boxes.

Bike riders can also use the skate park in specified times set aside for bike riding only.
