Ashgrove Library upgrade

Brisbane City Council is pleased to advise works to upgrade the Ashgrove Library are now complete.

This project took place at the existing Ashgrove Library site, located at 87 Amarina Avenue Ashgrove.

The works involved:

  • reconfiguring the existing spaces to create a new reading lounge, children’s library and more efficient back-of-house area
  • internal refresh of the interiors with new painting, flooring, lighting, a drinking fountain, furniture and shelving
  • replacement of the meeting room operable walls for improved sound attenuation
  • refreshing the building entry, including new signage, feature tiles and lighting
  • resurfacing of the concrete paths with a decorative finish.

The Ashgrove Library upgrade is part of Council’s commitment to delivering new opportunities for you to connect with family and friends in the places that make our city great.

Council would like to thank the community for their patience during the Ashgrove Library upgrade works.
