Project background

Brisbane City Council provides dog off-leash areas to enable dogs to run, exercise and socialise leash-free with other dogs and dog park visitors.  The facilities within Whites Hill Reserve dog off-leash area will be refurbished however a temporary dog off-leash area has been created for the duration of the works.

About the project

Council has commenced refurbishment of the dog off-leash area within Whites Hill Reserve.

Works to be undertaken include:

  • upgrade to the two entries on the Boundary Rd frontage
  • extending the small dog off leash area and the removal of one entry
  • installation of two additional solar lights
  • construction of deco stabilised path at the main entry and round the agility equipment
  • installation of one new seat, upgrading five existing seats and relocating some of them.

Project timing

Works to refurbish the dog off leash area commenced in March 2019 and will be complete in mid May 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.
