Brisbane City Council is pleased to announce the completion of the new Grovely Skate Park in Fihelly Street Park, Keperra, with the new facility now open to the public.

About the project

Grovely Skate Park was built to offer a dedicated space that caters for skaters of all ages, and from beginner through to intermediate ability. The facility also provides opportunities for roller blading, BMX and scooter riding.

The new skate park includes:

  • an open bowl that has various features and transitions, situated next to the existing basketball half court
  • a pathway with grindable boxes connecting the skate park with the pedestrian pathway and basketball half court
  • new seating in various locations.

Project timing

Construction began in late April 2018 and was completed in June 2018.

Council would like thank residents and park users for their patience during this time while these works were undertaken.
