Brisbane City Council is pleased to release the draft concept plan for upcoming improvement works to Keperra Bushland Reserve following community consultation in September 2019.

About the project

Council is committed to keeping Brisbane clean and gree, making our city liveable and sustainable for future generations.

Council is pleased to announce plans to improve the recreation opportunities at Keperra Bushland Reserve have been developed.

The purpose of this upgrade project is to investigate opportunities to improve elements of Keperra Bushland Reserve to enhance recreation opportunities for the community to enjoy.

Located at Levitt Road, Keperra, the Keperra Bushland Reserve covers 150 hectares and provides a bush oasis for the community only 16 kilometres from Brisbane's Central Business District (CBD). Community feedback highlighted a wish to see enhanced tracks and improved access to views.

The Keperra Bushland Reserve project will provide family-friendly recreation opportunities for the community to enjoy. The draft concept plan shows proposed improvements to the reserve, including an upgraded access track and installation of a small rest area.

Project timing

Construction is anticipated to commence in early 2020, with more information to be provided to the community before works start.

Council will use the community feedback gathered in September 2019 to investigate future recreation opportunities at Keperra Bushland Reserve.
