Council pools

There are 22 Council swimming pools across Brisbane offering opportunities for fun, fitness and recreation. Visit a Council pool to cool off, relax, enjoy water play, swim laps, attend a fitness class, learn to swim, improve your swim stroke or join a swimming club.
Pools are owned by Council, but managed by private operators who can assist with information about the facilities and activities offered. Pool facilities differ between venues and pool open hours may vary between seasons. View individual pool pages for detailed information.
All Council pools honour the Queensland Government Companion Card, allowing free entry for anyone accompanying a person with a disability who requires attendant care support. Council endorses the Royal Life Saving Society's Keep Watch program which aims to prevent children drowning.
$2 Summer Dips initiative
To make Council’s pools more affordable, Council has reduced general entry fees for summer. From 1 December 2023 to 29 February 2024, $2 fees will apply to general admissions.
More information regarding the $2 Summer Dips will be provided in the coming months.
