Boondall Wetlands trail

The Boondall Wetlands bike trail is nestled on the edge of Moreton Bay between Nudgee and Shorncliffe. The trail will have you riding through tidal flats, mangrove, saltmarshes, grasslands, forests and some of the most beautiful woodlands in Brisbane.

It is a haven for a range of sea birds and coastal mammals and is a must for any wildlife enthusiast.

The Boondall Wetland trail will take you from the Boondall Environment Centre all the way to Nudgee Road.

Boondall Wetlands bikeway closure

From 22 August to late September 2019, the Boondall Wetlands bikeway will be closed between the Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre and Nundah Creek.

Detour signage will be in place directing cyclists along the Gateway Motorway. Download the detour map (Word - 871kb)

These closures are necessary to ensure the safety of the public during construction of the car park, footpaths, and services for the new Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre.
