Walking trails

Walking is the most basic form of exercise and it costs as little as a pair of good walking shoes. Brisbane City Council encourages you to follow an active lifestyle with the many walking trails available throughout Brisbane. To enjoy the benefits of walking:

  • plan your route and pack lightly
  • wear a pair of comfortable shoes
  • protect yourself from the sun with a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
  • buy a pedometer to record your distance in steps and keep you motivated.
