Wynnum Beach Volleyball

Sporting fun and excitement returns to Brisbane’s bayside as the Wynnum Wading Pool is transformed into beach volleyball courts from late June to mid-August.

Residents from across Brisbane, including schools and community groups are invited to enjoy the courts for free, and take advantage of the chance to compete alongside elite beach volleyball players at Brisbane’s newest sporting arena.

Wynnum Beach Volleyball is one of the ways Council is creating more to see and do, as well as delivering support to the local business economy.

Facilities

The volleyball courts will be operational from 29 June to 11 August 2019. After this date, the Wynnum Wading Pool will be returned to normal operations for the summer season. 

Opening hours

The volleyball courts will be open during school holidays from Saturday 29 June - Sunday 14 July at the following times:

Bookings

The courts and equipment are free to use, however bookings are essential. To book a recreational court, or register your place in a tournament, visit Wynnum Beach Volleyball.

Parking and transport

The volleyball courts are located at Wynnum Wading Pool, 173 Wynnum Esplanade Wynnum.

There is on-street parking available, a small car park near the Wynnum Wading Pool and a larger car park at Pandanus Beach.

There are nearby bus stops on Wynnum Esplanade and the nearest train station is Wynnum Central. To plan your trip visit Translink
