Active School Travel is all about safety first and our bike skills sessions help students become safer riders.

We know children want to cycle or scooter to school in Brisbane, yet only around 3% do. We want more students to ride to school and we want them to have the skills, confidence and experience to ride safely.

Our students will join others around Australia to ride their bikes and scooters to school on National Ride to School Day on Friday 23 March.

Each year, the Active School Travel program conducts a thorough review of active travel statistics from participating schools to measure the impact of the program.
