Personalised Public Transport

Brisbane City Council is committed to getting residents home quicker and safer with more travel options. Personalised Public Transport (PPT) is a low-cost hail and ride service that helps connect residents to their local transport hubs. 

This service operates in areas where Translink services are limited, and operates with specially marked wheelchair-accessible and air conditioned maxi-cabs provided by Black & White Cabs.

PPT services:

• carry up to 10 people per trip
• can pick up and drop off passengers where safe to do so on a fixed route
• operate on a loop
• are branded with 'Personalised Public Transport' and the Brisbane City Council logo.

PPT is different to the Council Cabs service.

Fares

All PPT fares are $1 each way, however children under 5 years and legally blind persons travel free. 

Customers who transfer from a PPT to a Translink service must then pay the applicable Translink fare.

Council works with Black & White Cabs to provide eight PPT routes across Brisbane.

Aspley

This hail and ride service runs Monday to Friday, except public and school holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 20 minutes.

Morning service

This morning service runs in a loop, travelling from Bangalow Street (Albany Creek Road end) to Trouts Road, Albany Creek Road, Aspley Hypermarket and Bus Interchange (Park and Ride car park), Albany Creek Road and back to Bangalow Street.

The afternoon services run in a loop, traveling from Aspley Hypermarket and Bus Interchange (Park and Ride car park) to Albany Creek Road, Bangalow Street, Trouts Road and back through Albany Creek Road to Aspley Hypermarket and Bus Interchange.

Bald Hills

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 15 minutes.

Morning service

The morning service runs in a loop, travelling from Bald Hills Road (Godfrey Street intersection) to Gundulf Street, Rushworth Street, Feuerriegel Road intersection, Seaton Street, Attunga Street, Cambrian Street, Moorhouse Street, Rothbury Street and Godfrey Street, through Bald Hills Road (Godfrey Street intersection) to Cullimore Street, Bald Hills Railway Station (PPT stop area) and back to Bald Hills Road (Godfrey Street intersection).

The afternoon service runs in a loop, travelling from Bald Hills Railway Station (PPT stop area) through Cullimore Street to Bald Hills Road (Godfrey Street intersection), Gundulf Street, Rushworth Street, Feuerriegel Road intersection, Seaton Street, Attunga Street, Cambrian Street, Moorhouse Street, Rothbury Street and Godfrey Street, back to Bald Hills Road (Godfrey Street intersection), Cullimore Street and Bald Hills Railway Station (PPT stop area).

Carindale Hills

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 30 minutes. Changes to the Carindale Hills PPT service will be effective from Monday 19 October 2020.

Morning service

The morning service runs in a loop, commencing from Empress Drive (just past Clearmount Crescent) heading clockwise around Clearmount Crescent back to Empress Drive, Greendale Way, Ridgeview Street, Linacre Crescent, Ridgeview Street, Greendale Way, Scrub Road, Old Cleveland Road, Carindale Street to Carindale Interchange, then back again.

The afternoon service runs in a loop, travelling from Carindale Bus Interchange (PPT stop) to Carindale Street, Millennium Boulevard, Bedivere Street, Old Cleveland Road, Scrub Road, Greendale Way, Ridgeview Street, Linacre Street, Ridgeview Street, Greendale Way and Empress Drive, Clearmount Crescent, then back again.

Hemmant Hills

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays and school holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 30 minutes.

Morning service

The morning and afternoon services operate in a loop, travelling from Wynnum Plaza along Wynnum Road past Brisbane Bayside College, to Kianawah Road, Glenwood Place, Padbury Street, Youngs Road, Hemmant Road, Tingalpa Road, Pinnibar Street, Oswald Street, Doughboy Parade and onto Hemmant Railway Station. From here the service travels back along the above route to Youngs Road, Kianawah Road, Ropley Road, Wynnum Road, Randall Road, Plaza Street and back to Wynnum Plaza.

Karana Downs

This service runs Monday to Saturday, except public holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 45 minutes.

Monday to Friday morning service

The morning service runs in a loop, travelling from Mt Crosby Road (Tanderra Way intersection) to College Road, the Karana Downs Golf Club, Tanderra Way (near College Road), back onto Mount Crosby Road, Hawksbury Road, Sugars Road, Kangaroo Gully Road, Moggill Road past Moggill State School, the 444 BUZ bus stop then back onto Sugars Road, Hawkesbury Road and Mt Crosby Road (Tanderra Way intersection).

The afternoon service runs in a loop, travelling from Moggill State School to the 444 BUZ bus stop, Sugars Road, Hawkesbury Road, Mount Crosby Road (Tanderra Way intersection), College Road, the Karana Downs Golf Club, Tanderra Way (College Road intersection), back onto Mount Crosby Road, Hawksbury Road, Sugars Road, Kangaroo Gully Road and Moggill Road.

Note: The PPT service will pick up passengers outside the Moggill State School at approximately 3.10pm, 3.25pm and 3.57pm. The later afternoon services wait to depart near the Bellbowrie bus stop for commuters from the 444 BUZ route.

Upper Brookfield

This service runs Monday to Friday, except public holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 40 minutes.

Morning service

The morning services run in a loop, travelling from Upper Brookfield State School along Upper Brookfield Road to Carinity Aged Care on Gold Creek Road, onto Brookfield Road and Kenmore Village Shopping Centre, Bus Stop 36 then returning along the same route.

Afternoon service

The afternoon services run in a loop, travelling from Kenmore Shopping Village (Bus Stop 36) along Brookfield Road, to Carinity Aged Care, Gold Creek Road, then heading towards the Upper Brookfield State School along Upper Brookfield Road.

During school terms, the service runs from the:

• Upper Brookfield State School at 3.15pm to Brookfield State School, 18 Boscombe Road Brookfield, then along Brookfield Road to Kenmore Village
• Brookfield Showgrounds (Bus Stop 46 Brookfield Road) at 4.20pm (to link with the 733 school bus), then along Brookfield Road to Kenmore Village.

Wynnum – Manly

This service runs on Sundays, except on public holidays. Maximum journey time one-way is 60 minutes.

The morning and afternoon services run in a loop, departing the Wynnum Plaza PPT stop, travelling along Wynnum Road, Alex Street, Brierty Street, Malabar Street, Sibley Road, Wynnum North Road over the rail line, continue around roundabout on Wynnum North Road, Tingal Road, Florence Street, Bay Terrace, Kingsley Terrace, Nelson Parade, Esplanade, Cambridge Street, Ferguson Street, Carlton Street, Yamboyna Street, through Manly Rail set down/pick up, Ernest Street, Britannia Street, Oceana, McDonald Street, Alexander Street, Hinds Street, Whites Road, Manly Road, Stannard Road, Wondall Road, Randall Road, Plaza Street, and back to the Wynnum Plaza Bus Interchange (PPT stop).
