National Ride2School Day

Ride to School Day Brisbane

Even though every school day can be a 'Ride to School Day', there is a national event to encourage everyone to get pedalling. On Friday 23 March, our Active School Travel students can join other school children around Australia to ride their bikes and scooters to school for National Ride2School Day.

This is a great opportunity for your students and the whole school community to embrace a healthier start to the day and ride to school. Let your school community know about local bike paths connecting to your school and that it is legal to ride on the footpath. Make it easy for students to find your school's bike racks.

On the National Ride to school Day website you'll find a handy toolbox section with guides on planning and running your own event. You can use these hints and tips for National Ride2School Day and to run other Ride to School Days throughout the school year.
