About the project

The works were required to ensure the ongoing structural integrity of the bikeway bridge and continued safety for all users.

Maintenance works included:

  • repairing mortar pads, concrete headstocks and piles
  • removal of trip hazards
  • crack repairs in girders and piles
  • reinstating waterproof joints.

Council would like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during these important works.

The project commenced in late June 2020 and was completed in late September 2020.
