About the project

As the existing bridge was nearing the end of its serviceable lifespan, in order to maintain a safe crossing, the bridge was replaced with a new shared pedestrian and cyclist creek crossing to ensure ongoing access and safety for all users.

As part of the project, the following construction activities included:

  • removal of the existing bridge structure and installation of a new prefabricated steel structure
  • removal of one which was removed in consultation with a Council arborist.

Council would like to thank the local community for their patience while we complete this important work.
