About the project

The existing Dew Street creek crossing had reached the end of its serviceable lifespan. New culverts have been installed that improve the flow capacity and safety of the crossing while minimising the environmental impact.

Works to replace the Dew Street culvert included:

  • removing the existing box culvert
  • installing two new reinforced concrete box culverts
  • reconstructing the existing concrete path over the culvert crossing
  • landscaping works.

Construction on the project started in late May 2018 and was completed in early July 2018.
