About the project

Council identified that the drainage network at this location required an upgrade to improve the stormwater system and increase future flood immunity.

The project involved installing a new stormwater pipe from 5 Nash Street to 38 Elizabeth Street with upgraded gully pits on Elizabeth Street, Nash Street and Agars Street. Upgrading the diameter of the stormwater pipes on Nash Street and Elizabeth Street, has improved the capacity of the local stormwater network.

Works started in late April 2018 and were completed in early August 2018.
